Research Interests

My main academic interests are semantic integration, biomedical ontologies, and knowledge-based analysis of data in biology. We develop novel knowledge-based methods for analysis of large, complex and heterogeneous datasets in biology, and apply them to key problems in the domains of biomedicine and biodiversity.
