Research Interests

Developing platforms for facilitating knowledge-mining using data modeling, text- and data-mining, and machine learning. Emphasis is on the inference of new information not explicitly present in a single data source, developing systems with such capabilities on high-performance computing (HPC) systems, and their industrial applications. Application areas: Medical informatics, gene regulation, drug repositioning, diagnostic biomarkers, function inference, systems biology, data integration.
